Preschool Thanksgiving Program

I didn't have the right setting on the camera...but this one was too cute to not share. The little girl is LaLa (yes...like la la la la) but as far as we could tell her mom is not a hippie! I am pretty sure he has a crush on her...shes the same one I caught flirting with him in class one day.

Singing "Ten Big Turkeys" and "Mr Turkey"

It hard to tell what they are singing but they sure would good at the part where they gobbles like turkeys. And they all had costumes. His class was all Turkeys. some of the other classes were Indians and Pilgrims

There you can kinda see the turkey costume.

THE FEAST!
Note: he is sitting next to LaLa

His class's "Feast Table" They have Turkey, applesauce, bread, carrots, Pumpkin pie pudding and juice.

better view of the back of the costumes

Brandyn & Braedyn with their goofy Cheeses for the camera.

Braedyn and his friend Joshua who lives on our street.

Pal's

As much as I dislike this darn dog, (he is a clumsy 90lb bucking horse with a weak stomach that barks if you put him out side) he is Braedyn's "Pal" (like Pluto is Mickey's Pal) and I don't have the heart to get rid of him.

Prestyn- The Time-Out Kid

This kid is definitly a perfect example of a 2 year old.
These two are him practicing his time out faces
Throwing a fit on top of the table....
Time out....
There is a time out spot just about every house we go to and he knows exactly where its at.
This one cracked me up. I told him to stop hitting his brother or he's going to time out...so he grabbed his pillow and decided to just camp out there.
He can also be fun too...definitly a ham.

He LOVES Mickey...can you tell?

Watching the numbers in the elevator.
Just dropped Braedyn at school and he was sad that he couldn't stay.
And did I mention he is an awesome sleeper! he will sleep 12-14 hour nights and take a 3 hour afternoon nap!

leafs!

Our tiny trees don't make many leafs for raking and jumping in....but the huge tree in Papa and Cinny's back yard makes LOTS!!! The boys had a blast jumping in the big leaf piles. Noone seemed to be able to rake piles fast enough before they jumped in and flattened them.

More Mess!

Since I did have a few takers on the previous offer of letting future cookie messes be made at their houses instead of mine.... I thought I would share another mess I decided I would offer out to any one that wants it!

The real mess had nothing to do with the paint.... for anyone that is aware of Prestyn's "episodes"...or better yet- have experienced it first hand........let me just tell ya....I would rather paint be spilt all over the carpet than the freak out/melt down/holding his breath and passing out episode we had once Prestyn realized that a small very minimal amount of paint had spilt on him! WOW! OCD! This kid is going to need some serious therapy in order to make it through Preschool.
So- Paint on leg equals freak out episode. Then I got him in the bathtub to wash off the paint- and apparently the fun soap that is like shaving cream and lots of fun (for most kids) was means for another episode. Let me just tell you that Sunday morning was an exhausting morning!
(Recap for the uninformed- When Prestyn gets upset he holds his breath, turns purple and passes out from not breathing. Most of the time he comes thru on his own. A few times we have had to blow into his mouth to get him to start breathing again. The doctor said that it is actually somewhat normal- that some kids do this as their way of throwing a fit, and he should outgrow it hopefully between 3 and 5 years of age. There isn't any kind of treatment for it, just time.... and we have to make sure we tell any babysitters that he does do this and that they haven't just killed the child- sorry Grandma Cindy!!!)
So with that said....Who's house are they painting at next???????

Cookies!

Yesterday Braedyn decided he wanted to bake something.....so I decided we might as well start practicing making cookies for the upcoming holiday season.
From now on though- I'll let the baking cookies messes happen with Grandmas and Aunts....I dont have enough patients for the mess! Any takers?

Good Investment

I bought this Bumbo Chair when Prestyn was born and 2 yrs later he STILL loves it. He calls it his "bummo"

Leaves Leaves Leaves......

Who knew leaves could be SOOOOOO much fun?

Since we cant sled on snow...how about box sledding in leaves....
Papa's turn to push them down the hill.......
Uh Oh!
