hmmm…..

Just take a look at this sequence of pictures I came across the other day while looking thru old pictures.
It was Nov 2005 so Braedyn was a month shy of turning 2 and Prestyn was barely 3 weeks old.

Sweet big brother holding his new baby brother.  What are they looking at?

wait for it………….

ya,  maybe the sweet big brother isn’t so sweet!   And Prestyn obviously knew from the start.  haha

Kiss it better.  (Obviously I had taken away the hammer once I saw he had it.)

Braedyn has always been my sneaky one and I have a feeling he always will be.

Dance

At 18month (January), I started Adalyn in a Mommy and Me Dance class at Kemper Dance Academy.  Brandyn and I went to school with Jeni, the owner.  We had some friends join us to make it more fun!

The first couple weeks were “difficult” with her.  She hit her “stranger danger” phase in perfect timing with the start of dance.  So it would take her the first 25-30 min of the 40min we were there before she would really participate.  She likes to jump over the snakes and that’s usually what would bring her out of her shell.

Then one day I told Brandyn that I would finish out this month and then wait until she was a little older to try again.  And guess what…..we went to dance the next day and she walked in like she owned the place and participated 100% from start to finish.  She had a blast and now I am torn on what to do!  We will see how the last 2 weeks go.

Museum

Braedyn has been asking to go to a museum for years.  The problem is, the ones he wants to go to, the ones with big dinosaurs and space shuttles and Indian artifacts, are too far away and/or cost too much money to spend when we aren’t even sure how long they will last before they get bored.  So Saturday morning after the hockey game we got up and went out to breakfast and then headed downtown to the Pioneer Museum.
Admission is free so we only had to feed a parking meter.
The museum is in the old City Hall building so it is neat just to see that.  The original elevator is still running, the kind you have to open a gate to get into.  Some of the exhibits are rotating so right now there was a war one Brandyn was excited to see.  The boys did a scavenger hunt which meant they were more interested in getting to the next room to find the next item on their list.  But they had fun.  They can now say they went to a museum. AND there were even Indian artifacts!Pioneer Museum - Page 001
And maybe we will look into going to one of the museums in Denver this summer.

Hockey

A few months ago, B asked the boys what new things they wanted to do they haven’t done or been to before.  Two of their answers were to go to a Hockey game and to a Boxing match.

So B got tickets to an Air Force Hockey game…..
They all had a great time and watched the entire game! Even Adalyn sat and watched and cheered (both) teams on.  AFAHockeyGame - Page 001

As for the boxing match…when B called me from work and said he could get boxing tickets, I told him we should wait till the boys are a little older.

Happy Valentines Day 2011
